New house made to look old. Indian arches led to a worn heated concrete floor, hand hammered metal railings and Moroccan plaster walls. The shelves are made from a locally fallen tree.

Hand finished cabinets with Wyoming fossil stone countertops. 200 million old fish skeletons decorate the surfaces. Produce is from gardens outside house. Floor is white concrete coated to look aged. Lighting is led.

Indian arches center the living room and create space for a dining room. White concrete stained to look old contains radiant heat powered by the sun and a small boiler when the clouds are out.

500 tons of local stone start the beginning of a long rock wall surrounding the property. This spiral pool is 9 feet deep. The designer and stone mason Thea Alvin lies in the bottom for an overhead shot. We later filled it with water and use it for irrigation.

Beams sourced from a deconstructed warehouse in Washington state. The roof is living 6 months of the year. Each spring it comes back into life and oozes green.
