My goal with this space was two-fold, to create a home that reflected the homeowner's passion for travel, as well as adequately pay tribute to the gorgeous lake view of the property. One of my favorite aspects of this home is the conversion of a stone wall into a floor to ceiling wall of windows, to take advantage of the view of the lake below. My process included custom designing much of the furnishings in the home, and also took on the role of architectural developer, designer and project manager for all of the layout, finishes and gardens of the property. All of the furniture, design and architectural details were curated to resemble a collection of treasures accumulated over time.
