This charming kitchen remodel brought fresh life to a historic 100-year-old home, blending timeless character with modern touches—and earning approval from Milo, the resident French Bulldog! Initially cramped and dark, the kitchen's spectacular lake views were hidden by bulky cabinets and appliances.

We chose elegant Café Appliances in crisp white with brushed bronze details, beautifully complemented by Capitol Lighting Branford pendants above the island. To preserve views, we installed a sleek pop-up vent behind the cooktop, emerging only when needed.

Storage got smarter, too: the fridge relocated to an exterior wall, flanked by pull-out pantries and a hidden coffee bar. A floating bench beneath the window offers a cozy nook, cleverly hiding Milo’s food and water bowls underneath.

Warmth shines through the Artistic Tile Vanilla Onyx Mosaic backsplash, enhancing rich wood cabinetry and creamy quartz countertops. The result? A bright, welcoming space that respects history, embraces modern living, and is enthusiastically Milo-approved!
