We originally were going to demolish this home and put the lot up for sale. Ultimately the decision was made to save it. This house was originally built as a twin. One of the owners purchased the other side and made it one house. All the work was very poorly done and the upstairs bedrooms only had 6 ft ceilings. The only way to fix the shortcomings with the home were to raise the roof. To do this we demolished the entire 2nd floor, framed new walls, and set brand new trusses on the home. At that point the layout of the home was completely changed. We were able to fit a full master suite upstairs with walk in closet, 2nd main bath upstairs, and 2 bedrooms. Downstairs we created a first floor master suite off the family room. We also added a laundry/mudroom and half bath off the kitchen. This chopped up mess was turned into a 4 BR, 3 1/2 bath home on a beautiful lot that will be enjoyed for many years!
