Entertaining Delight
This kitchen was closed off from the dining and living rooms of the house, making it feel isolated as well as small. The oak cabinets and wide-grout tile countertops were no longer working for the homeowners. They wanted a more refined kitchen with better flow, more light, enough island seating for friends and family to gather around, as well as better access to the other areas of the house. A dated wine bar off the kitchen was also updated, making this the perfect house for entertaining!
The team at Lenton Company, Inc. heard the clients’ needs and created a beautiful, efficient kitchen for them. We removed a bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room so the two rooms would “talk” to each other. The work flow was reconfigured and a window added. The island now has seating for four (with room to pull up a couple more chairs).
The new wine bar features a hammered copper sink and plenty of room to display the wine collection.
