Here is the back of the peninsula after the remodel. Extra storage is always needed and this was an easy way to add some into the room.

The empty half wall was taken out and replaced with this bookcase, allowing for more storage.

Here you can see the detailed back splash, counter top, cabinets, handles, light switches and the detail on the bottom of the top cabinets. The colors all came together very well.

Close up of the corner of the kitchen. With the island gone from the middle of the floor, the room is much more open. Plus the set-up of the sink, dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge is incredible.

The microwave was placed nicely into the cabinets so that it doesn't stick out. This gives it a nice, clean, polished look.

This is the bench that sits behind the dinner table below the windows in the dinette area. Not only did the bench get added in, the drawers were added in to allow for more storage space, too.
