For many years we have loved old world European architecture and furnishings. As a husband and wife team with a design, furniture and construction background we established our own construction company Bella Chateau Homes, Inc. 11 years ago. Our desire was to take our passion for all things European to the residential new construction business.
When we finally realized our dream to build our own home 4 years ago we wanted to create a Country French inspired kitchen. Our vision was for hand painted, glazed cabinetry. We went to great lengths to achieve the desired result. This process was the beginning of our new venture into the creation of shabby chic furniture.
After finding, restoring, painting and distressing amazing antiques for our new home and being impressed with the results we decided to open our store in downtown Junction City, OR. In 2013 we outgrew our small store and moved to a larger warehouse space in Eugene, OR. This move has allowed us to grow so we can offer our customers a wonderful selection of custom one of a kind pieces.
