Exterior Transformations

After a large exterior renovation, the exterior landscape underwent a major overhaul, bringing the front and back landscapes forth into a lush garden retreat.

Before
The Victorian home before renovation,
Before...Hardly recognizable as a Victorian Home
Boxwood and Nepeta line the new brick walkway. The old addition was removed and a larger addition was built to fit with the style of the front of house.

The yard was in a sorry state. The overhang of the garage was removed as was the old concrete pad to transform the backyard into a lush private space

Clematis and Cllmbing hydrangea climb up wired landscape fabric, making the wire invisible. A great solution that allows it to be lifted for painting and other maintenance.

Lilacs and dogwood planted for an informal lush front bed.

The 100 year old wisteria on the side of the house survived renovation. The plant was too big to move, so a wooden frame was installed to allow the tree to grow more upright and avoid having it climb onto the house.

Almost unrecognizable as a queen Anne Victorian. Porch was restored and all of the details added back to this fine old lady during renovation.

Evergreens and sun loving perennials grace the 1893 Victorian. Miniature dogwood, knockout roses and hydrangeas along with pieris and catmint for a border make it an easy care landscape delivering color throughout the season.
After - Porch restored, Painted Lady
Nestled under several large trees, this backyard space was transformed with plants that love shade. Cherry Laurels create an evergreen backdrop with several kinds of hydrangeas, viburnum, and shade loving astilbe, ferns and jacob's ladder.

Brick patio built at the back of the yard under 100 year old oak tree for dappled shade and privacy.

Clematis in all its glory climbing on heavy steel mesh which disappears as foliage grows, allowing for a beautiful look, but still removable for maintenance.

Hydrangeas bursting. These originally were pink but we turned them blue by enhancing the soil.
