Family Island Haven

It was time for the family cottage to grow with the family. The design started as a remodel but after structural review the project morphed into a new construction project. Truly a marvelous island site, this home needed to be a comfortable haven for one-and-all. Authentic materials and top-notch craftsmanship enhance the architecture of the design.

Fireplace in Dining uses recycled stone from the original structure that sat on the site. Window at landing adds a view not available anywhere else from the home.

Cantilevered Balcony adorned with imported ironwork highlights Bar below. With a Hall and Kitchen behind and common spaces on the near side, these seats come with a commanding view.

This Artist Studio was created when an octagonal dormer was added to the 'Bonus' Room. Ceiling faucets help scatter the northern light in the clean spaciousness which creates a wonderful artist's loft.
