We worked hard to match the existing materials on this addition. The idea was to make the addition look like it had always been a part of this home. This will be the warmest room in this house, the old slider was letting air pass directly into the kitchen. By adding the family room we not only increased the size of the house, we also increased the insulation and cut down on the drafts. This addition should increase the energy efficiency on this house. We found several issues while working this addition which we were able to repair.
