Farm Villa
Architect Name: John Tittmann
Architecture Firm: Albert, Righter & Tittmann
The river view played an important role in the siting and design of this house. All of the rooms are oriented toward the picturesque view. The large Marvin Double Hung windows in the dining room are arranged in an arc that floods the eating area with sunlight and allows generous views of the outdoors. Marvin in particular made this project possible because their window sashes and frames have a subtlety of scale and detail that allowed for the definition of three disparate New England styles, thereby supporting the overall goal of the house.
