Farmhouse Classic

An old farmhouse got a full restoration, and we got to help with the kitchen design, mudroom/pantry, and large family table. We were able to use the same wood species and stain color for our pieces as the existing trim in the house so it kept a very cohesive feel.

Entrance to Mud Room
The five children chose their cubbies according to age order :) They put shoes and gloves in the bottom two shelves, and hats/toys/other items on the top shelves. The tall sections have three coat hooks and sit at chair height, perfect for putting shoes on. photography

Bench & Cubbies
During our visit we came across an old piano face at an architectural salvage store. When we decided to build a storage bench in this space I knew exactly what would become the back rest, and the results were far beyond my expectations. photography
