A stunning modern farmhouse kitchen remodel. We transformed this space by removing the wall between the kitchen and living room to create a more open layout. This island features custom drawers and cabinets for extra storage at the base. The deeply extended white quartz top provides a large work surface while also creating a dining table length extension for seat down meals. The Island was painted in a stunning green color that is fun and that makes a statement. The island was finished off with golden brass hardware.

The rest of the kitchen cabinets were painted white with black matte hardware. The White subway tile is made interesting with the application of dark gray grout lines. It is subtle, yet noticeable and pulls in the gray from the beautiful gray quartz top. The cabinetry is functional with spice rack and utensil pull-outs, trash can/recycle pull-out, and drawer peg system organizers. There is a full height pantry with adjustable shelves and shelf pull-outs for extra storage. We also added a utilities full height storage cabinet for their mop, broom, and miscellaneous items.

The kitchen also features shiplap panels on the back window wall that adds a focal point to the kitchen. The open corner shelves and exposed wood beams were stained in a dark wood color that coordinates with the dark flooring. All light fixtures have clear glass shades with a black matte finish.
