A new kitchen layout and cabinets were designed for this beautiful Colonial style home. The clients were looking for a "fixer upper" style kitchen with gray and white cabinets. We decided to replace the existing peninsula with a turned leg island that has seating on two sides. We also decided to move the fridge from the stove wall so we could feature a custom gray wooden hood vent over the gas stove. Adding eye catching lantern pendants and upholstered counter stools to the island created a stunning focal point around the hub of the kitchen. Wysteria Design not only designed this kitchen but also decorated it with a functional bar cabinet and rustic accents such as a small herb garden, a large handmade wooden bowl of fresh green apples, and a charming cake stand with a delicious vanilla cake topped with cinnamon and a sprig of greenery from our favorite little cake shop in Dover, NH, Three Sisters Cake Shop.
