Faucet designs

This is a collection of earlier work over the last year. After drawing out some designs I began to experiment with physical and CAD models.

3D rendering

In this model I attempted to create a counter and sink for reference and scale, pretty basic but it helped!

"installed" version

One of the earliest 3D models using my first love - Sketchup. I've moved on to using Fusion 360 but miss a few features from before!

Earliest 3D Model

This model is made using plastilina and a coat hanger armature. Made before I had a solid understanding of faucet inner workings, so the proportions are a bit off!

Clay model

Made with pink foam, I used spray foam to stick the pieces together. I used a hand saw and wood rasp to shape it. So much foam dust!
