Architectural details add depth and character to otherwise plain spaces. Adding details to the ceiling will make it more connected to the rest of the space.

Adding a large statement fixture at the center of the space is an ideal way to connect the upper and lower portions of a room. Just like what we used on this one, the light fixture is large but not necessarily heavy looking. We also extended the fireplace upwards with the use of tiles.
