This cast iron fireplace surround was in desperate need of a re- do. Upon closer inspection, it was apparent it had been beautifully marbleized years ago and was now a bit too far gone. The homeowners of the Federal Hill home in Baltimore chose a timeless Carera marble. Yes, it’s paint!!
