Our client bought this house in a desirable established neighborhood but it needed updating from top to bottom. Their original contractor bailed on them after he finished the second floor and basement. After doing some research online, they contacted us to renovate the first floor.

We replaced linoleum and outdated tile floors and refinished the wood floors and repainted every room. To update the family room, we completely replaced the fireplace and entertainment built-ins and got rid of the wall paneling. We also replaced the paneling in the den. With the kitchen, we painted the island and put in granite counter tops. One of the changes our client loved was the stylish foyer - we got rid of the wall paper and spruced up the staircase.

We also made the home more functional. We opened up a hall wall and created a mud area. We also widened the stairs in the living room - our clients were afraid they were a hazard.
