Five Story
In this completed five story stairway and balcony for a five story row house in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood, we worked with Sea-Dar Construction and James Dayton Design.
Concentric began the job by creating a series of as-built drawings of the
existing stair, some of which date back seventy years. Once the as-builts were completed, we were able to work with the design group on layout. Each run of stairs was a unique condition, which would require a unique design for each run. No two posts on this project were alike.
The design group gave us basic parameters to follow and we created the layouts and built drawings. Working with the design group, these drawings were refined and the approval was given to create and install samples.
Concentric delivered these and met with contracting partners in glass and
Mill work.
