Look at that live edge!! The center is filled with West System epoxy mixed with graphite. The graphite when light hits it actually changes colors.

Isn't nature a beautiful artist? Those streaks through the wood is from the Ambrosia beetle and it leaves these mineral deposits that change the woods color. On the edge is some splalting maple where the wood is starting to decay due to fungus.

This is the jig I custom made to mill the tabletop down flat for me to sand. Overall the tabletop took about 4 hours to mill down and a lot of woodchips were made.
