Florence Avenue
This lovely home high in the hills needed a little refreshing. In the kitchen, the homeowners needed more storage space and wanted to downsize from the separate cooktop, double oven configuration. To update the space, we built a new kitchen island and painted it in a contrasting black from the existing white perimeter counters. We added new lighting and a simple marble backsplash to tie the entire space together. The other spaces also needed a little updating: we added built-ins in the large dining room, colorful wallpaper and chairs, and a new statement light fixture to tie it all together.
