The homeowners needed more space for the kids and their friends. They wanted them close by to keep an eye on things. An addition? Not now. The garage was only being used to store junk. It became the obvious solution at a lower cost than an addition to the home. This ultimately became the space where the kids watched movies, held a multitude of sleepovers, and when they left for college, Dad moved in quickly to make it his "man cave"!!!!
