Free Form Automatic Cover Pool-Eagle

This backyard transformation includes a 20x40 free form gunite pool, automatic pool cover, diving board, outdoor kitchen area, fireplace, and an above ground spa. This project was designed in 2011 and was completed in 2012.

The rebar is put in place to strengthen the unique structure of the pool when they pour the concrete. With the rebar in place, you can see the shape and depth of the pool.

Now that the inside of the pool has been set, the shape of the deck has been formed.

Now that the concrete has been poured, they can start smoothing it and creating the lines on the deck. The shape accents the unique form of the pool.

The concrete turned out great and is finally dry.

The pool is finally finished and full of water. Here you can see the full design of the pool and the beautiful landscape in the back.

Along the edge of the pool, right underneath the decking, is where the pool cover runs. Due to the shape of the pool, there needed to be a gap between the decking and pool in order for it to work.

Here is a close up of the stairs with a beautiful blue tile that matches well with the entire pool.

Inside the pool is an umbrella stand so you can hangout in the pool and still be in the shade to protect yourself from the sun.

This pool has an automatic pool cover. Here you can see it covering the pool. The pool cover is housed underneath the diving board A pool cover helps to keep your pool cleaner and require less maintenance.

Along with the pool is a beautiful outdoor kitchen equipped with granite counter tops, a sink, grill, refrigerator, and a warming drawer. Perfect for having a get together.

This is the outdoor living space. It is completely covered and has a sofa, two chairs, a coffee table and a ceiling fan to help keep cool on those hot summer days.

Right next to this in-ground pool is an above ground spa surrounded by concrete pavers, giving it the look that it is in-ground.

The perfect backyard is not perfect without a fire pit. This is a linear fire place right next to the outdoor seating area and the above-ground spa.

Here you can see the diving board. This is an SR-Smith Hip-Hop diving board and on the opposite side of the pool are four lounging chairs so you can hangout by the pool.
