Free Up is designed to utilize the room for a multitude of activities. Originally the owner planned on using the space for a guest bedroom but quickly realized the room sat dormant. Suddenly, needing extra office space, the room is transformed into the home's new "it" room. The designer needed to create a guest room, an office, a virtual reality play space, and more storage while keeping it clean and modern. The solution was to develop a multipurpose vertical storage unit that enclosed a full-size queen mattress, four file drawers, ample storage for the printer, office supplies, VR equipment, luggage, and room for the guest to store their belongings. With ease, the family can now entertain, work, play and utilize the room in a variety of ways. The product design solves all the client’s challenges and completes the space.
