Fresh Traditional

This family of four was looking for an updated kitchen and more gathering spaces for friends and family to interact. We removed a wall between the kitchen and family room, straightened a sinking bay window and created a completely new deck with full surrounding stairs for connectivity to the backyard.

The pantry cabinets previously housed a built in desk and small, very dark pantry closet. We dropped the ceiling to create a tucked in aesthetic around two large pantry cabinets with roll out drawers creating more user friendly storage.

Slide out pantry units for maximum storage

Taking the cabinets all the way to the ceiling added extra storage to this small kitchen renovation. We inset glass panels to break up tall cabinets.

Previously a wallk in pantry, we took down the walls and created a more open plan eating nook in the kitchen. This created a lighter, brighter interior and left adequate circulation to the patio.

Removing the wall between the kitchen and family room creates more area for family and guest interaction and allows more light to penetrate into the sunken family room.

Wood floors were re-stained to be consistent throughout the first floor to create continuity and connectivity of space.

An all new deck and planter boxes create the ideal outdoor living space for entertaining. The deck is surrounded by stairs to create easy traffic flow from the yard to the house.
