Frites Street Facility Transformation
Project Overview:
The Frites Street project showcases the transformation of a food production facility into a state-of-the-art space that excels in both functionality and design. Our collaboration with Now Construction Group enabled us to overcome initial product shortages by integrating innovative materials and solutions.
Design Vision:
Our vision for Frites Street was to create a facility that seamlessly balanced aesthetic appeal and hygiene by utilizing durable materials. The decision to use Trusscore wall panels was pivotal, allowing us to maintain high hygiene standards while ensuring a sleek and modern look.
Innovative Approach:
With the initial plan to incorporate FRP panels, product availability issues led us to recommend Trusscore panels. These were particularly chosen for their resilience against moisture, impact, and temperature fluctuations, necessary for a demanding food production environment. We coupled these with Sherwin-Williams Pre-Catalyzed Epoxy to provide a continuous, waterproof surface finish.
Project Challenges:
Navigating through product shortages, we adopted a value-engineering strategy. Trusscore panels were installed up to 10 feet high, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. In storage spaces, full-height FRP panels were utilized to provide increased protection.
Outcome and Results:
The project culminated in an advanced and refined facility that fulfills Frites Street's operational and design goals.
