The homeowners were ready for a change from peach-colored walls and floral fabrics to a calming, monochromatic space. Shimmery, embroidered fabric was used for the custom window treatment adding softness without obstructing the view. The dark bronze chandelier echoes the free-flowing patterns in the chair and panel fabrics and replaced the traditional brass fixture.

Heirloom artwork inspired the paint and fabrics for this breakfast area. The family gate-leg table was brought down from the attic and professionally re-finished with an ebony stain. Custom window treatments bring in texture and add subtle color without obscuring light.
