Large cedar planters filled with edible plants elevate the garden while helping to protect the crops from nibbling critters. A weathered steel wall adds warmth adn texture, while teepees provide structure for climbing long beans and flowering vines.

Potager garden

A weeping cedar tree has been trained to grow across the house, creating a graceful canopy that softens the brick facade.

Attractive stone walkway

The flagstone patio provides a welcoming space for outdoor dining. A few steps down is a built in cedar hot sunken into a cedar deck. Cedar wood is also used for the adjacent stair treads. The combination of stone and wood materials creates a warm combination and comforting outdoor setting.

Updataing a manor home

A quiet spot to sit and relax surrounded by lush plantings and layers of plants. There are majestic old trees as the upper canopy, white dogwood and redbud trees as a lower canopy, evergreen and deciduous shrubs, bulbs and perennials complete this year-round interesting landscape.
