Fun Kids Bath
This bathroom remodel was meant to create a fun and function space for multiple children. The bathroom is located near the playroom over the garage and near some of the children's bedrooms. Separating the shower, vanity and toilet areas allows multiple children to use the space at the same time. Linear elements were used throughout the space to add interest and cohesiveness. Traditional elements such as crown moulding, marble hexagon flooring, painted trim and antique looking door hardware were used given the age of the home, but more contemporary elements were incorporated to make the space more playful. The homeowner wanted to disguise the recessed medicine cabinets to ensure the focal point remained on the floating vanity. The use of the striped walls helped hide the medicine cabinets and provided the extra punch of fun!
