From master carvings created between 1900 and 1920, we cast replica's in what we call wood composition - an all natural material used as early as the mid 1700's by the famous architect Robert Adam. This "compo" creates the beautiful hand carved effect seen in the images below. When steamed or heated (see our website for instructions) this composition material can be shaped and applied to radius surfaces.
