These Before and after pics shows a typical 3 car garage with a common gable roof in Chicago. The transformation is drastic. This once unusable space on the rooftop of the garage is now an extension of the home and allows the family and friends to enjoy the outdoors in a space designed for outdoor living as a rooftop deck and garden by Chicago Green Design. We collaborated with the client on how they would want to use the space of their rooftop deck above their garage. While a full outdoor kitchen, dining and lounge area on just a garage rooftop space seemed like a lot, the creative design layout by our in-house team was spectacular! This rooftop garage deck transformed into the living space this family could use and enjoy through all the Chicago seasons while enjoying urban living in their own backyard.
