Here we lay out the steps and process of what your home and kitchen go through when you choose to refinish your kitchen with Vaughan Painting.
We understand that an issue for many looking to have renovation work done is the fear of trusting strangers with your home. So to help put your mind at ease, we have outlined the refinishing journey your kitchen will make with us here at Vaughan Painting.

The refinishing process all begins with the removal of your cupboards and fixtures.

Once all the cupboard doors are out of the way we begin covering and protecting your kitchen and living space while we paint, spray and work.

We spray non-removable fixtures on site once the kitchen is completely covered.

Back at our shop we place all your cabinet and cupboard doors on a rack as we prepare to clean them.

To start the refinishing process we clean the cabinet doors with a degreasing fluid. Removing any grease or dirt from the cabinet is a critical step in ensuring that the new paint will stay on the doors.

Next we do some light to mild sanding depending on the shape, material and quality of the door. This step also ensures that the new paint will stay on the doors.

Now for the most exciting part of the process; the spraying! We spray all cabinet doors, drawer faces and kitchen panelling so your kitchen can have a beautiful, uniform look.

Once a door is evenly coated with your choice of paint, we leave them to evenly dry on our racks.

Now that the sprayed doors are dry we can begin sanding any rough patches left behind from when they were drying.

We make sure everything is just right before we pack up your newly refinished cabinet and cupboards and bring them back home.

Grouping by size we take a few doors and wrap them in a protective styrofoam sheet.

Now using packaging cardboard to wrap the doors, we ensure that they stay safe and perfect.

Once secured with packing plastic your cabinet doors are ready to be safety transported back home.
