Georgetown Modern - Trentman House

Aggregate Architecture + Design led the team on the meticulous, award-winning restoration of the Trentman House, a 1969 masterpiece by renowned modern architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen. Originally featured in the May 1969 issue of Architectural Record Houses, this residence is a rare example of a mid-century modern home protected by a historic easement.

Despite its architectural pedigree, the home faced significant structural challenges, including serious water intrusion and mold damage. Our team performed a complete "down-to-the-studs" gut renovation to address these issues and bring the property up to 21st-century performance standards.
