Although it seems to be making a comeback, the head-to-toe cedar wall paneling in this 80’s home did not feel like a cool retro comeback. Ready for a total remodel, my clients were prepared to strip the cedar and modernize their home. We redesigned the kitchen to open into the family and dining spaces and added several layers of lighting. Mulligan furniture adorned in Classic Cloth textiles kept in line with the owners’ love for shabby and chic. The master bedroom and bathroom were reconfigured into an adjoining master suite. Natural materials from Artistic Tile were paired with of-the-moment resin panels from 3-Form and contemporary fittings from Kohler.
