This Brentwood East Hampton/Cape Cod style ground up/new build home was a true labor of love. The Wangers, our dear friends and neighbors since the birth of our girls, are a second time client and their initial Gretna Green home nearby in the neighborhood I have since remodeled with new residents. The family includes William, Melissa, their daughters Julia (15), Abby (10) and of course Wyatt, the adorable but naughty labradoodle pictured. We incorporated many of Melissa’s family’s pieces that were crafted by her uncles and other members of her family mostly from Lancaster, PA. Her hope chest at the foot of her bed, just to name of her many antiques, dates back to the turn of the century. Many pieces were custom designed by Storm Interiors, including the living room etageres, beds, kitchen dining table, etc… The colors were carefully curated to reflect Mel’s faves including teals, sea greens and touches of mauves and aubergines. Melissa was born In Lancaster, PA and William is from Chicago. William is an executive VP at Fox Sports where he has worked for over 30 years. He is an avid golfer and heads up many charitable organizations including the City of Hope Golf Tournament. Some of our favorite features include the white lacquered double story entry wall panels, the detailed penny tile design details in baths, powder room wallpaper, the master bedroom tourmaline surround fireplace and bath floor insets, custom colored kitchen cabinets, beveled glass dining room side light, natural walnut floors and vintage light fixtures throughout.
