An airy duplex was created by combining the top two floors and adding a private interior stair. New skylights flood natural light into the upper family room and cook's kitchen below.

This turn of the century building in New York's Gramercy neighborhood held a complex mix of floor-through apartments, vacant SRO units, retail and light industrial space.

Renovations were necessary to upgrade the building infrastructure, as well as create a larger unit for the owner's growing family.
