The steel casement windows that overlook Gramercy Park were the inspiration for the kitchen cabinets. The base cabinets are hand painted and given a wax finish. Since the kitchen is also the entry, the fridge and pantry sit discreetly behind paneled doors. Extensive molding treatments, a new walnut floor, new bathroom, closets, and furnishings complete the renovation.
