The intent of this design project was to incorporate the extraordinary location of the house – on a bluff with an unobstructed view of rolling desert vistas – with a client desire for transitional furnishings. The semi-custom home features large north facing windows that flood the space with cool light. With the natural desert landscape as a backdrop, the design plan was conceived to emphasize the ever changing textures and colors of this unique area.
The concept for each room incorporated a slightly different element of the desert landscape: an earthy, texture rich great room; an oasis spa-like master suite; a rough wood walled bonus room. Each space was envisioned through the selection of art, décor, flooring, lighting and furnishings.
