Granite Bay Multi-Use Room
This rooms earlier life as a large bedroom was changed into a useful multi-purpose room that the whole family could use and enjoy. The header and doors were removed from the closet and turned into a built-in entertainment center, with the excess space not taken up by the big screen tv used to display family pictures and artwork. The opposite side of the room incorporated a computer work area with plenty of counter space to lay out projects on. All upper cabinets were left open to display photos and artwork, while the lower cabinets were incorporated doors on them for longer term storage of items. Radius display shelves were used on both ends to soften the transition to open wall space. A false back was installed in the knee space area to hide all of the wiring for electronics and is held in place by magnetic catches for easy access. Cabinets are antique white melamine with thermo-foil doors. Wilsonart laminate countertop with a full bullnose edge is Jeweled Coral
