The focus of this remodel was to increase the functionality and sustainability of living space, both interior and exterior. By removing walls, the previously isolated kitchen was enlarged and connected to the living room. Formaldehyde-free custom cabinets, quartz countertops and refinished wood floors reflect the owners' environmental consciousness. The existing lawn was removed and replaced with decomposed granite and drought tolerant plants to create a low maintenance landscape.
