GuyCo - Laurel Whole Home Remodel

Our client purchased a home in the area they wanted, but the home was a little dated. GuyCo updated the layout, finishes, and fixtures. This home features a new kitchen, new bathrooms, a new fireplace, and a built-in entertainment center.

We painted the trim on the wood paneling, and re-stained the panels for a fresh, modern look.

The bar shape was changed for better flow. The cabinets were updated, and were moved up to the ceiling. The hinges are hidden for a sleek, modern look.

The former dining area was opened up and converted into a cozy nook sitting area. There is a lot of light in this area from the windows on two sides and the open space into the new dining room.

The brick and trim were painted, the muntins were removed, and moldings were added. Two walls, and the tile floor were removed , and wood flooring was installed to match the existing.

Notice how the flooring is installed in the entryway. There is a border of floorboards running lengthwise along the hallway, then the boards in the center are installed running across the hallway width. This helps define the individual rooms in the open entry area.

Clean, modern lines in the trim, and the stone going cleanly up the entire face of the protruding wall. All of the trim was painted white for a fresh look. New carpet and cabinet hardware completed the new look.

We added the piece of trim to the top of the fireplace area, and replaced the fireplace. The traditional mantel was removed and a stone surround was installed. The bookshelves were painted white for a lighter look.
