This residence was a labor of love for our clients; they first approached us almost a decade before to help design their beach house. Though the first round was put on hold, they came back with more ideas and greater sense of what they wanted in a home.

This is the quintessential contemporary take on a traditional cedar shake residence. Reminiscent of homes in New England and the Hamptons, the house provides sweeping views from almost any room, a private master suite, a chef’s kitchen, and a bonus playroom on the top floor. The interior is crafted with traditional elements of fine built-ins and 3-piece trim but the owner kept the furnishings casual to keep the beach house vibe.
