This kitchen was part of a large addition on the back of an existing house. The new open space allowed for a large L-shaped kitchen with an island. The corner sink helped spread out the work triangle, and provided good counter work space. The opening into the dining room incorporated double sided glass display cabinets, which were finished to match the island cabinetry. Decorative fluted columns and range hood provided a traditional look and feel to the kitchen, along with the glazed lacquer cabinetry.
