Hanceford: Modern Farmhouse

Accessorizing in modern farmhouse style! This family moved into their new home a few months ago, and hadn't had a chance to decorate the walls and really make it feel like their home yet. It was incredibly rewarding to help them settle in, and see the big smiles on their faces when this all came together!

Kitchen eating area: a custom-designed reclaimed wood ladder with E-A-T letters mounted on it, paired with seeded glass pendant lights above the kitchen table.

Dining/ Front Room: a distressed arts and crafts cabinet for the kids' supplies, paired with chevron wooden arrows, and some natural woven materials to soften the impact of the stone floors.

Living Room: a rustic teal wood clock provides great contrast against the refined lines of the gray walls and white moulding of the fireplace.

Living Room/ Kitchen: the openness of the living room and kitchen area required design elements that complemented each other. Here, wire mesh metal wall flowers highlight the space behind the family's plush and neutral sofa, with the subtle color of the kitchen's glass pendants in the background.

Bringing nature into the master bedroom: a windswept wall tree with tiny glass beads to reflect some light and color around the room. Rustic wooden frames with family photos, to complement the clean lines and warmth of their wooden furniture.
