The problems to be addressed in this kitchen were many!! This zig-zaggy lay out had limited useful cabinet space. Almost every cabinet had a corner cut off! There were very few drawers leaving utensils homeless. The floor space was cramped and only designed for one chef at a time.

An open floor plan allows for multiple chefs' at one time!

By incorporating pullout cabinets we were able to completely clear off the counter allowing for ample prep space at the cooktop.

Cabinetry on both sides of the peninsula added much needed storage. .
