After restoring this 1930s exterior and shoring up structural failings, we added a two-story addition for a growing, young family. Using various green building products and techniques, including reclaimed hardwood floors, no-VOC finishes and energy efficient windows, we were able to responsibly provide additional space all the while respecting the classic charm of this old home.
