Heartwood is a thoughtfully designed A-frame retreat created to blend modern comfort with the warmth and simplicity of cabin living. Nestled among the trees, this project was designed to feel connected to nature while still offering the functionality and openness needed for gathering, relaxing, and escaping everyday life.

The exterior combines classic A-frame architecture with contemporary Northwest styling. Dark siding, exposed wood accents, and expansive glazing create a bold yet welcoming presence that sits naturally within the surrounding landscape. Large decks and outdoor gathering spaces were intentionally designed to extend the living experience outdoors and maximize the peaceful forest setting.

Inside, Heartwood features an open concept layout with soaring ceilings, exposed beams, and large windows that flood the home with natural light. The warm wood finishes and carefully selected materials create a cozy atmosphere while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. From the inviting living spaces to the loft overlook and spa-inspired bathroom, every detail was designed to create a comfortable retreat that feels both elevated and approachable.
