Heritage Grace Kitchen
Nestled in the heart of Southlake, Texas, this traditional kitchen is a testament to timeless design and thoughtful craftsmanship. Designed by The Kitchen Source with Adrian Wright of Wright At Home, the space balances classic elegance with fresh functionality, creating a warm and inviting hub for family gatherings and everyday living. The bright, white palette is elevated by carefully selected materials, including mirror inserts on the cabinetry that reflect light beautifully throughout the room, adding a layer of subtle glamour.
At the center of the design is the striking limestone hood, inspired by the homeowner’s unique passion for antique dollhouses. With an extensive collection that she restores by hand, she dreamed of bringing the old-world charm of her dollhouse kitchens into her own. The custom limestone hood, with its soft curves and stately presence, echoes that whimsical vision while anchoring the kitchen in timeless sophistication.
The kitchen island showcases exquisite craftsmanship with its detailed wainscot panels on each end, adding depth and architectural interest to the room. Overhead, elegant lantern pendants cast a warm glow across the crisp countertops made of engineered stone—chosen to resemble marble without the maintenance that often accompanies natural stone. Sleek chrome-accented barstools complement the refined aesthetic. Behind the scenes, clever storage solutions include a discreet coffee bar and a hidden appliance pantry tucked inside the tall cabinetry flanking the sunlit window—proof that classic style and modern convenience can coexist effortlessly.
Beyond the kitchen, The Kitchen Source’s thoughtful touch extends into the living room fireplace and the serene primary bathroom, creating a cohesive flow throughout the home. Together with Wright At Home, they have honored the homeowner’s love for heirlooms and timeless details, transforming a beloved family home into a refined retreat. This space beautifully reflects the marriage of nostalgia and modern living, celebrating the stories of the past while embracing the comforts of today.
