High Park Backyard Landcape
When I met with the client they had just cleared their backyard and were starting with a blank slate. Their want list was simple:
- a patio area to double as a parking pad for future resale purposes
- a turf area for their dog
- simple yet colourful gardens
- a few small to medium sized trees
A patio was constructed using Unilock pavers with a base deep enough to allow for a vehicle to be parked on it. Artificial grass was installed for the dog and for the children to play on (and the dog loves it not to mention there is virtually no maintenance). Two ornamental trees were planted within the garden to keep with the scale of the space while the rest of the garden provide colour and interest all year long.
