Securely perched on a steep, ocean-facing slope above Cliff Drive in Santa Barbara, this 3,000 square foot, two-story Mesa hillside house was designed to carefully integrate into the surrounding topography while capturing stunning ocean views from all the major interior spaces.

Stained wood, copper gutters and downspouts, two-piece Mission tile, factory painted clad wood windows and smooth, steel-troweled exterior plaster with bull-nosed corners and returns, along with other traditional form and detail motifs all contribute to the classic look of this ocean-view residence.
